This section is to list all the legacy extensions, former standalone free or club extensions that are no longer supported, but still available for download. Support is in regards to forum support as well as updates. A legacy extension is typically superseded, in terms of functionality, by a more recent extension, such as RokSprocket.

Features:

RokStories - RokStories has been replaced by the RokSprocket module with its Features Layout. RokStories itself is a content showcase extension with the focus being on the image. It is a highly configurable module with multiple layout options to switch how the relationship between content and image is presented, in location, style and prominence.

RokNewsPager - RokNewsPager has been replaced by the RokSprocket module with its Lists Layout. The module is a content focused extension that presents text in a list format. The module can display its content data in two different list formats. Accordion is a dynamic expand / collapse layout type, and a static option is just vertical blocks.

RokNewsFlash - RokNewsFlash has been replaced by the RokSprocket module with its Headlines layout. It is a snippet or news ticker styled content extension, displaying single lined content. The content length is limited by the preview option in the module's setting, that allows you to restrict character length. A caption is also included and configurable.

RokTabs - RokTabs has been replaced by the RokSprocket module with its Tabs layout. It displays content within tabs, perfect for maximising content display whilst conserving page space. The module has several features, including icons for the tab titles, inline module positions and also configurable tab row locations, such as above or below the main content.

RokMicroNews - RokMicroNews has been replaced, in part, by the RokSprocket module with its Tabs layout. The drag and drop feature for vertically stacked blocks is not available with RokSprocket. Similarly, the expand / collapse and section headers are not in RokSprocket. RokMicroNews is, in effect, a side tabbed content module, with an emphasis on stackability.

RokIntroScroller - RokIntroScroller has been replaced by the RokSprocket module with its Strips layout. It displays content, both text and / or images, in a single lined horizontal grid structure. The module allows you to specificy articles from a particular category, set a character limit for each article, amongst other features such as navigation arrow opacity.

RokContentRotator - RokContentRotator has been replaced by the RokSprocket module with its Tabs layout. It displays content within a tab based structure on the left or right of the content. The module allows you to specific articles from a particular category, set a character limit for each article, amongst other features such as whether the tab titles are linked.

RokSlideShow - RokSlideShow has been replaced by the RokGallery module, and in part, the RokSprocket module with its Features layout. The module itself is an image rotator.The slideshow itself is very flexible and easily customizable and offers a great alternative to flash-based solutions. Support for titles and captions is also included.

RokDownloads - RokDownloads is a file download manager. It provides management of files and folders for you to present downloads to your site visitors. It is a native Joomla! 1.5 component. It works with both Windows and Unix, and will recognize files and folders uploaded via FTP or other method. It allows for a simple interface to manage your files and folders.

RokGZipper - RokGZipper has been replaced by the RokBooster plugin. It compresses and consolidates CSS and Javascript files, reducing HTTP requests and overall file size. Site performance is paramount, and RokGZipper suits this end. It creates separate files per different pages to further improve speed, by only compressing used CSS or Javascript.
